C8+ generates quite a bit of heat due to its high power, but it has built-in overheating protection that prevents it from heating above 60 degrees and reduces the light. This happens after about 5 minutes of continuous lighting depending on the outside temperature. The battery lasts about 40 minutes on the highest mode. If you need longer lighting and/or longer battery life, the driver design includes a high medium mode that provides strong light for 1.5 hours. The driver has 8 groups of modes so it can be adjusted according to the user's preference at any time using only the button. By default, the flashlight comes programmed with only the high mode, but before shipping we will set it according to your wishes.
