Designed like a 'tasting menu', this book will help beginner jewellers learn and adapt a wide range of techniques and skills to various types of materials through a series of making sequences, and learn how to incorporate these within their own designs. Materials covered include: tinplate and metal leaf, wood and pigment, metals and pigment, paper with metal, found objects, fabric and pigment, polymer clay and fibres, felt, wire, etc. The making sequences include sixteen projects using mixed media methods.
