Am I Not Enough

nAfter years of hearing and believing Christian friends when they said, Where God guides, He provides, my wife and I, along with our seven young children, answered the call of God and moved to Turkey to begin a ministry there. Not long after arriving, that saying began to be challenged. After a few short years, I began wondering if God was anywhere to be found.n nn nHardship after hardship along with financial despair plagued us. Our prayers seemed to go no higher than our lips, and letters to friends and churches for help went unanswered.n nn nBitterness and resentment was the only thing I could feel. Not just toward our friends, but toward God Himself.n nn nIt was not until I was lying in an emergency room bed waiting to be taken to the mental hospital that a man showed up with a message from God. After delivering the message, he ended with, If you will put God back on the throne of your life, and love Him the way you are supposed to love Him, those neurons in your brain will fire right again and you will be healed.n nn nIn this book, you will read my complete journey. How I removed God from the throne of my life and why I fell out of love with Him. What God truly promised to provide. What God wants from us. How I returned to loving Him, and the changes I made in my thinking about God that caused my brain to produce the needed chemicals to heal itself.n
