With a highly successful legal career spanning over three decades, in 1993 Pirro was elected Westchester County District Attorney. She held the position for twelve years. In 1990, Pirro was elected as the first woman to serve as a Westchester County Court Judge. Judge Jeanine Pirro began her career as a legal analyst on Fox News Channel, and began hosting her weekend program Justice with Judge Jeanine in 2011, which remained the top-rated program in its Saturday evening slot for over a decade. Currently, Judge Jeanine Pirro co-hosts The Five on Fox News Channel, the highest rated program on the network. Pirro earned a BA from the University at Buffalo, magna cum laude, and received her Juris Doctor (JD) law degree from Albany Law School.
