As a popular tourist destination, the Islands feature many attractions but it has been said that the most enjoyable activity is interacting with the local population.
Although English is the native language in this British Overseas Dependent Territory, the local dialect contains thousands of words that are often blended together and hidden beneath very strong accents. This adds flair to the Islands' cultural appeal.
The Cayman Islands Dictionary(c) was borne of an effort to accentuate some of those unique words so that everyone can learn more about them and enjoy the true beauty of Cayman: the people.
