He specializes in artists whose paintings predominantly reside in private collections, intending to bring their art and life stories to a larger audience. Eelco Kappe has a Ph.
D. in Marketing from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Between 2011 and 2018, he worked as a marketing professor at the Pennsylvania State University, and he has several scholarly publications in the top journals in economics, management, marketing, and psychology. In 2018, he decided to follow his passion for art and focus on writing about great artists who have received little attention from art historians. He is also the founder of the art history website www.tripimprover.com.
